They think it's all blue. At 11:00 a.m., there are 20 fish in the plot, of which 8 have already been
picked up. The AM15 is just delivering to the stern and the AM9 is just picking up the fourth.
If the factory ship or buoy boat is far away, a flag is planted in the carcass after air has been pumped
into the whale to prevent sinking. The position is reported to the buoy boat and the factory ship over
the radio. When the catcher's fleet was equipped with radar, a radar reflector was also installed. The
flag reports the catcher number, which is also cut into the tail. There it is also indicated how many
harpoons have been used, because one shot was not always enough. The planting of the flag was not
only intended to make the competitor aware of ownership, but also served the ship administration,
where the catch premium for the catcher crews was determined. If the flagged fish could not be
found, the animal was registered as "lost in flag".

mail and finished their packages and now mother must be thanked with a telegram or a flower. The
first QSO with Capetownradio/ZSC has already taken place, 40 telegrams and a few OBS’s. A weather
forecast has been taken, there is a bunch tfc ready for PCH and more is still being added. PCH is
already starting to come through a bit in the 22 mHz, but it is still far too early for a good QSO.
Rogalandradio/LGB also has traffic, that will have to wait until tonight. The workshop is full of repairs,
